She was predeceased by : her parents, Aileen Martens and Pirscmel; her husband Earl Flatman; her sons, Ralph "Marty" and Michael; her grandsons, Bobby and Nicholas Marsh; and her brothers, Donald and Pete.

She is survived by : her children, Stephen Flatman (Mia) of Andalusia, IL, Elizabeth "Beth" Slawson (Robert) of Davenport, Timothy Flatman (Kathy) of Dyersburg, TN and John Flatman; and her sister Geraldine Tabor. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
