He is survived by: his mother Darlene Rusch (Heiring) of Holy Cross, Iowa.; his wife Susan McKinney; his children, Nicole Hines of Rancho Cordova, CA and Scott Rusch of Asbury, Iowa; his stepsons, Joe and Sean McKinney; and his siblings, Joseph (Teresa) of Davenport, James (Tammy) of Anthon, Iowa, Marge McGowan of North Liberty and Anne Hayes (Dan) of Pecatonica, Illinois. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
