It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Howerton in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira "Doc" Howerton and Edith Anglen Howerton; his son Kenneth Dunaway; his siblings, Vernon, Jessie, Veldon Howerton, Ruth Runyon, Lorraine and Shirley Russell; and his granddaughters, Kimberly Rieck and Renee Potts.
He is survived by: his wife Billimae; his children, Randy Dunaway (Janis) of Florida, Elaine Phalp (Randy) of Lenexa, Teresa Hoffman of Raytown, Tina Hester (David) of Raytown, Peggy Dunaway of Lakeland and Dee Dunaway of Stockton, Iowa; and his brothers, Wayne Howerton of Independence and Gary Howerton of Lebanon, Missouri. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
