He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kroeger and Mabel Kroeger (Meier); his wife Joan Schaeffer; his daughter Joni Kroeger; his great grandchild Elsie Margaret Joan Kroeger; and his siblings, Elmer, Leroy, Henry, Alvin, Irene Schult and Henrietta Wenndt.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Kroeger (Vicki) of Wilton and Linda Connell (Jim) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Melissa Johnson (Craig), Nathan Kroeger (Amanda), Andrew Kroeger (Liz), Zachary Connell and Christopher Connell; and his great grandchildren, Kellen, Calvin, Mila, Arya, Hattie and Glennon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home - Durant (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
