He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Carson and Virginia Carson (Titley); his wife Gale Sexton; and his brothers, Patrick, Robert, Russell and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Carson (Bobi) of Buffalo, Glen Carson (Tracy) of Buffalo and Grant Carson (Corinna Burgess) of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Holli Thornton (Wes), Zack Carson (Megan), Nick Carson and Drew Carson; his great grandchildren, Lilah Thornton, Tinley Carson and Memphis Carson; and his siblings, William Carson (Faye), Roberta Kit Carson and Judy Hainline.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Quad City Veterans Outreach Center.
