He was predeceased by: his mother Pamela Lynn Peterson (Jones); his brother Gerald "Scotty" Peterson; and his stepson Kyler Sammon. He is survived by: his father Gerald F. "Jerry" Peterson (Teresa) of Davenport; his wife Carey Sammon; his children, Dustin Bain of Davenport, Danielle Bain of Moline and Richard M Peterson of Moline; his stepson Noah Bremenkamp of Davenport; and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Judith, Amarah, Grace, Kaydon, Elaina and Alexa.
