It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Rizzo (Davenport, Iowa), who passed away on July 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rick Rizzo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Neece and Kay Neece. He is survived by: his close friend Vicki; his significant other Vicki Janney; his sons, Matthew Rizzo (Marisa) and Michael Rizzo (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Caden, Drew, Emma, Harper, Leighton and Grant Rizzo; and his brothers, Steve Rizzo (Leslie), Scott Neece (Pam), Todd Neece (Lori), Gary Neece (Mary) and Randy Neece (Christy). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and countless close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local veterans organization of your choice or to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital Fund.
