We announce the death of Robert Appleby Sr. of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 75. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Appleby and Jewel Appleby (Hendricksen); his sons, Gregory and Michael Appleby; and his siblings, Ralphie, Jerry and Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Coblentz; his son Robert Appleby, Jr.; his grandsons, Jeremy Agan, Robert Appleby, III, Ricky Appleby and Gregory Appleby; his great grandchildren, Madison Appleby, Landon Agan and Isabella Agan; and his siblings, Homer Appleby, Terry Appleby, Jimmy Appleby, Peggy Waldron and Cleo.
