He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Stender and Florence Stender (Mittman); and his wife Janice Strathman. He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Gail) and Jane; his grandsons, Jacob and John (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Daniel, Benji and Margot; and his caregivers, Brandie and Amanda.
