He is survived by: his children, Robert Schwan, Jr. (Myonggu), Jenny Labath (Scott) and Gretchen Teckenburg; his grandchildren, Robert III, Paula Schwan, Emily Kerslake (Chris), Troy, Sammy Labath, Gabby, Spencer, Justin and Helen Tecklenburg; and his brother Walter Schwan (Louise).
