He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Cress and Ethel Cress (Bowden); and his daughter Terri Lang. He is survived by: his grandsons, Jaden and Hawkeyes of Iowa; his wife Debbie; his children, Katie Rurka, Joseph Cress and Jason Cress (Debbie); his grandson Jacob Rurka; his siblings, Sharen Abbott (Scott), Gary Cress (Barb) and Dan Cress (Debbie); and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
