He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Anderson and Hazel Anderson (Huffman); his sisters, Donna (John Carter) and Pat (Bob Hawk); his siblings-in-law, Pat Anderson, Cleo Anderson, Roger Van Blaricom, Basil Cheek and Bill Wulf; and his siblings' children, Lisa Anderson, Randy Anderson, Scott Heber and Butch Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Janie; his daughters, Katherine Leverence (Bob) of San Antonio, Suzan Horn (Mark) of Lake Stevens, WA and Teri Kruse (Tom) of Fox Island, WA; his grandchildren, Josh Kruse (Jess), Bobby Leverence, Luke Kruse, Jennifer Lerebours (Barnes), Elias Hubble-Horn (Abs), Jonathan Kruse and Emma Phillips (Corban); his great grandchild Lorelei Kruse; his brother Gene Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Teel (Jerry), Sheryl Wulf, Carol Miller (Mike) and Margo Cheek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (1010 N Clark St, Davenport, IA 52804). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davenport First Church of the Nazarene (1010 N Clark St, Davenport, IA 52804).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Davenport First Church of the Nazarene.
