We announce the death of Ronald D. Busch of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Busch and Beulah Busch (Durflinger); his son Stephen Busch; his brothers, Jack Busch and Roger Busch; his brothers-in-law, Carl Boebel (Marilyn), Alan Smith, George Roleder, Bob Johannsen, Bob Foley, Jim Lux and Jerry Krones; his nephew Eric Lux; and his niece Jennifer Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Boebel of John's Lutheran Church; his children, David Busch (Susan), Karen Highland (Tim), Gary Busch (Connie Hill) and Richard Busch (Mary Fitzpatrick); his daughters-in-law, Debbie Busch and Teri Smith (Brian); his sister Sandy Krones; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Busch, Betty Roleder, Margaret Smith, Carolyn Johannsen and Katherine Green. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (2136 N Brady St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul's Lutheran Church (2136 N Brady St, Davenport, IA 52803).
Memorials may be made to the Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth, Illinois and the St Paul's Lutheran Church Outreach Program in Davenport, IA.
