He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin E. Reicks and Elaine J. Reicks (Huether); his wife Sharon K. Huckins; his siblings, Marlene, Marlen and Richard; and his stepsons, Mark Leon and David Leon.
He is survived by: his former wife Diana F. Walters; his children, Diana Essex (John) of Buffalo, Dawn Reicks of Queen Creek, Donna Essex (George) of Davenport and Dick Reicks of Davenport; his stepson Steve Leon of Glendale, Arizona; and his brothers, Louis Reicks of Davenport and Carl Reicks of Cocoa, Florida.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one step-grandchild; several great-grandchildren.
