He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Severt and Evalina Severt (Eickert). He is survived by: his wife Sue Sato; his sons, Jim Severt (Laurie) of Davenport, IA and Steve Severt (Kore) of Coralville, IA; and his brother Richard Severt of Rowlett, TX.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
