With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald E. Williams of Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald E. Williams to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Williams and Lucille Williams (Fitzpatrick); his wife Linda Kay Gaskey; and his brothers, Don Williams and Herb Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Ronda Morrison (Gary), Ed Williams (Joy) and Lynett Robertson (Lonnie); his stepsons, Alvin Sersig III (Melissa), Rodney McReynolds Sr. (Kathy Monteith) and Scott Angstrom (Stephanie); and his close friend Karen Traywick. He is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital.
