He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (Grell); his daughters, Alison Hotchkiss-Dietsch (Karin) of Iowa City and Julie Rothlauf (Jared) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Paxton, Benton, Rylen and Maeve; and his siblings, Rita Plank of Arizona, Linda Shaw (Keith) of Rock Island, Karen Schafman of San Antonio, Dale Dietsch (Brenda) of Ft. Madison, IA, Gary Dietsch of New Boston, IA and Gary Van De (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the QC Animal Welfare Center or the Scott County Humane Society.
