He was predeceased by: his parents, George Peter Mangels and Luella Rose Mangels (Ripley); his siblings, Rose, John, Loretta and George; and his grandson Brandon.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol (Schumaker); his sons, Steven Mangels and Mark Mangels (Shari); and his grandchildren, Amber, April, Shawna, James, Katelyn, Brady, Ryan, Madison and Matthew.
