We announce the death of Sandra Sue Reid of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril C. Smith and Maurine M. Smith (Martin); her husband Duncan Reid; her son David Reid; her sister Carole Slattery; and her brother-in-law Maxey Barnett.

She is survived by: her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Brenda Reid; her grandchildren, Kristin Wood (Tyler), Eric Reid (Laura), Alex Reid (McKenzie), Austin Reid (Haylie) and Jimmy Reid (Chelsea); her great grandchildren, Norah, Clara, Lydia, Eliza, Ellis, Ansley, Evey, Pierce, Davis, Palmer, Baker, Aria, Myla and Chase; her son Mike; her daughter-in-law Emily Reid; her grandchildren, Sarah Reid, Nick Reid, Tanner Reid (Taylor), Jack Reid, Johnathon Reid and Sophia Reid; her great grandchildren, Elijah of Leilah, TJ and Roman; her son Bill; her daughter-in-law Candace Reid; her grandchildren, Morgan Dean (Micah) and Taylor McMahon (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Owen and Blaire; her sisters, Judith Barnett and Shirley Fingerhut (John); and her brother-in-law Jim Slattery.
