She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Vance and Betty Lou Vance (Johnson); her stepfather Lloyd Marker; and her sister Jacqueline Banks. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Carrillo of Davenport; her daughter Tammy Sitter (Mark) of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Brandon Schlieper, Jordan Sitter, Lauren Sitter and Ryan Sitter; her great grandchildren, Talon Schlieper and Oaklynn Mills; and her sister Jody Ortega (Rich) of Pleasant Valley. She is also survived by seven stepsiblings.
