She was predeceased by: her husband Arn; her parents, Herbert and Helen; and her sister Joan (Ken). She is survived by: her daughters, Gail McCarthy (Chris) of Fort Collins, CO, Karen Lambert (Jim) and Rachel Strader (George); her grandchildren, Rachel Kennedy, Emily Twiss, Rachel Tjaden (Chris), Sara McCarthy, Tyler Lambert, Cody Lambert, Eliza Chouteau (Michael Tolbert), Carly Chouteau (Seth Durr) and Matt Chouteau; her brother Bob Haertel (Pat); and her sister-in-law Mel Marolf. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to King's Harvest Pet Rescue or WVIK Quad Cities National Public Radio Station, Rock Island, IL.
