He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Pierce and Lois Gaghagen; his children, Christie McClurg of Michigan City and Craig Pierce of Davenport, Iowa; his grandchildren, Alexander, Katelyn and Corrine; his siblings, Nancy Mullanack (Donnie), Tami Pierce and Larry Pierce (Cindy); his wife Linda Kay Whittington; and his siblings, David Pierce and Patricia McClendon. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A procession will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 N Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery.
