She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rev. Elmer Holte and Anna Holte (Mathison); her husband Gerald D. Polley; her sons, William Polley (Naomi) of Davenport and Bruce Polley (Megan) of Maize, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Elizabeth, Brue and Blakelyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Davenport Lutheran Home or St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington where she was a member.
