He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cole and Wilma Cole (Svobada); his siblings, Wilma VanDee, Betty Fowler, Dory Stecher, Vernie and Donnie Cole; his brothers-in-law, Denny Morgan and Pat VanDee; his nephew Jimmy Dean Cole; his stepsons, Ron and Randy Burmeister; and his friend Butch Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Gale; his children, Dean Cole (Amy), Marcos Meraz (Kimberly) and Casey (Michele); his stepsons, Russell Burmeister and Rick Burmeister (Joyce); his siblings, Norma Steizner (Tim), Sherry Morgan and Dean Cole (Beth); and his brother-in-law Jim Stecher. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Beach Pub (1022 W Front St, Buffalo, IA 52728).
