He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Allen and Lillian Allen (Modde); and his sister Wendy Allen Burke. He is survived by: his wife Gini Van Doren; his children, Scott Allen (Dawn), Kathy Allen Barrs (Phil) and Michelle Allen Schaefer (Mark); his grandchildren, Christopher Barnhart, Michael Barnhart, Ashleigh Allen, Bryceson Alonzo, Avery Alonzo and Meah Schaefer; and his siblings, Sharon Allen Moreland and Wayne Allen (Judy).
Memorials may be made to the National Ataxia Foundation or to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
