It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Babij (Davenport, Iowa), who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephanie Babij (Kania) and Andrew Babij; and his brother Paul Babij. He is survived by : his wife Halina Babij; his daughter Veronica Anthony (Gabriel); his grandsons, Nathan and Jacob; his siblings, Christine Alexander (Fred), Bernadette Rollins (Hank), Andrew Babij (Laurie) and Katherine Cholette (Gary); and his sisters-in-law, Michelle Babij, Christina Carlo (Herbert), Ursula Garbien, Renate Millan, Irena White and Jennifer Bentle (Arnold). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weerts Funeral Home (3625 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
