He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Lynch; his wife Tempie Edwards; and his brother Gilbert "Duke" Lynch. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Fullmer, Paula Garnette (Richard) and Thomas Lynch II (Mhisho); and his sister Rose Hatfield of Davenport. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
