Vera Howard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Howard of Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Lee Howard and Lizzie Mae Johnson; her sons, James Wilmington Jr. and Julius Wilmington (Amanda); her grandchildren, Teryn, Tahlia, Kiara, Tyson, Kadrien, Ealiyah and Raelynn; her brother Willie Lee Johnson; and her pets, Bella and Sissy.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
