Vera B. Runge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2025, at the age of 95, Vera B. Runge of Davenport, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera B. Runge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Andrew and Minnie Dorothy Ullrich (Ingraham); her husband William H. "Bill" Runge Sr.; and her siblings, Ray, Charles, Melvin "Sonny" Ullrich, Dorothy Meyer, Evelyn Giles, Gertrude Van Hoosier and Shirley Schaab.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Runge Jr. (Kathy) of Davenport, Richard Runge (Karen) of Davenport, Scott Runge (Bobbi Jo) of Davenport, Lizabeth Langston (Jeff) of Joliet, IL, Trish Negus (Willie) of Davenport and Timothy Runge (Stephanie) of Walcott. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue or Friendly Thrift Center.
