She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur L. Borthick and Marguerite M. Borthick (McKnight); her husband James H. Spencer; and her children, Athena Smith (Perri), Christine Hayden (Tom), Monique Miner (Bruce), John Spencer, James "Harvey" Spencer and Michael Spencer (Angela).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any area animal shelter of your choice.
