He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil and Millie; his former wife Penny; and his brother George Gates. He is survived by: his daughter Lynda Morton (Jeff) of Trevor, WI; his granddaughter Brie Morton of Trevor, WI; his wife Patricia Gates of Grayslake, IL; and his nephew Bob Gates of Bevier, MO.
