He was predeceased by: his parents, Lothar Hamann and Velma Hamann (Schreck); his son Jon Hamann; his sister Barb; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Kuehl and Dallas Buesing.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hamann; his sons, Chuck Hamann (Terrie) of East Moline and Dale Hamann (Agnes) of Antilope, California; his grandsons, Josh Hamann (Keira), Tim Hamman (Kara), Brandan Hamann (Tamara), Kevin Hamann (Rian) and Patrick Hamann (Gergana); and his sisters, Lorraine Buesing and Judy Hanner. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
