He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Thomas and Claribel Marie Kosgard (Watkins); his wife Ethel Mae Hall; his children, William Kosgard, Jr. (Mickey) of Davenport, Patricia Williams (Charles) of Davenport, Karla Kosgard of Davenport, Kenneth Kosgard of Davenport, Katherine Brown (Rich) and Julia Sird (Robert); his grandchildren, William III, Kyle, Kelly, Jamie, Christina, Angelina, Kendra, Anthony, Jackie, Brad, Eric, Austin, Sommer, Heather, Robert, Jr. and Nicholas; his siblings, John "Jack" Kosgard, Mary Jane "Jane" McMahon, Lillian "Tootie" Spratt and Katherine Turner; his niece Sherry Casey; and his nephew-in-law Reg Ring. He was also cherished by thirty-nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
