It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William M. Bentley of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William E. Bentley and Katherine Bentley (Smith); and his granddaughter Aundria. He is survived by : his wife Diana Schlump (Ward); his children, Melody (Foster), Brook (Mike), William and Dave; and his brother Wayne. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Runge Mortuary Chapel (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to K-9 Kindness Rescue, Christ Church, or Beacon of Hope Hospice.
