With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Potter of Davenport, Iowa, whose life came to an end on February 16, 2026 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John W. Potter and Dorothy L. Potter (Reich); and his brother John Potter (Jewell). He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Tolander (Brian) of Gladstone and Lynette Gilbert (Brian) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Bailey, Jackson, Chase Gilbert, Sydney and Aubrey Tolander; his sister Jane Ogilvie (Nick) of Muscatine; and his friend Sandy Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
