It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Savala of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Savala and Felicitas Savala (Carillo); and his siblings, Rebecca Castro, Lupe Segura, Eloise Borgus, Gabriel, Richard, Charles, Joseph Savala and Sam Cordero.
He is survived by: his brother Alfred "Fred" Savala (Eva) of East Moline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral (422 E 10th St, Davenport, IA 52803).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church or Knights of Columbus.
