He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dinger and Leve "Peggy" Dinger (Hanson); his in-laws, Silas and Marie Kohrs; and his siblings, Kathryn and Durwin.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Kohrs of Decorah, IA; his children, Brian Dinger (Linda) of Decorah, IA, Penny Fisher (Tom) of Calmar, IA and Brenda Thompson (Kelly) of Forest City, IA; his grandchildren, Quentin, Zachary (Valarie), Zebulen (Aubrey), Miranda (Luke), Cody, Chandler, Conner and Chiara; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Owen, Aviana, Nora, Audrey and Bridget.
