He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Olejniczak and Martha Olejniczak; and his sister Marilyn Schult. He is survived by: his sister Frances White; his family Decorah; his children, Lon (Kristen), Lesly, Heidi (Bob), Jason (Tiffany) and Elle; his grandchildren, Samantha Walter (Andrew), Brodrick Bornmann (Caitlin), Gabrielle, Jake Olejniczak, Emma, Kaleb, Lydia Olejniczak, Greer and Matteo Moran; and his great grandchild Zak Paul Walter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the family at 1425 Wicklow Dr. Robins, IA 52328. The family will make donations to First Lutheran Church, Winneshiek County Hospice and care for Olejniczak baseball field at the Decorah High School.
