She was predeceased by : her parents, Don Rima and Arleen Rima (Mull); her sister Marguerite Rima; her grandparents, Ward, Florence Rima, Walter and Willamena Mull; her great grandchild Willow Grifith; and her grandson-in-law Rocky Rouse.

She is survived by : her former life partner Harvey Lynn Burns; her sister Darla Stillions (Rima); her children, Kristine Duder (Scott), Robert Burns and Dena Bentley (Larry); her grandchildren, Daniel Burns (Megan Protsman), Allison Burns, Macie Rouse, Jeff Burns, Jade Burns and Jacob Burns; her great grandchildren, Hailey Kennington, Carver Burns, Mason Rouse of Olivia Burns, J. R, Charlie Grifith and Jemma Griffith; and her great great grandchild Oliver Kennington.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Decorah Covenant Church (115 Washington St, Decorah, IA 52101). A reception was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 104 State St, Decorah, IA 52101.
