He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Macal and Myrtle Macal (Syvertsgaard); and his wife Shirley Macal. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Kloubec (Chad) of Fairfax, IA and Dean Macal (Melissa) of Rosemount, MN.; his sister Jeanette Williams; his in-laws, Elzie and Ruby Christine Wray (Boyd); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Macal, Fran Wray, Linda McManus, Verla Boyles (Larry) and Lee Zemp.
