He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Anna Ida and Edmund August Henry Poppe; and his siblings, Caroline Menken (George), Lydia Dingfelder (Vincent), Edmund Jr. Poppe (Alma), Wilma Morse (Garland), Melba Compton (Dalton) and Myrtle Poppe.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Vangsness; his children, Elrick Poppe (Karen), Mark Poppe (Kirstie) and Linda Walter (Adrian); his grandchildren, Dane Poppe, Brynn Poppe, Levi Poppe (Alli), Cade Poppe, Brig Poppe, Luke Walter and Adam Walter; his brother Wilbur Poppe (Yvonne); and his brother-in-law Lee Vangsness (Shirley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Those who wish to honor Harold's memory may make a memorial donation to Washington Prairie Lutheran Church or Barthel Eastern Star.
