She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Fischer and Olga Fischer; her husband Rolf-Dieter Herrmann; and her brother Karsten Fischer. She is survived by: her son Lars Gunnar; her sister Senta; her sister-in-law Elke; her nephews, Otto, Ernst, Jens and Knud; her daughter-in-law Dawn; her grandchildren, Kelby, Erin and Niels; her daughter-in-law Pam; and her grandchildren, Luther and Josie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed either to the Olga Fischer-Proehl International Studies Scholarship at the advancement office at Luther College or to the Good Shepherd Scholarship Endowment.
