He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelda Mae Bandy (Bandy) and Harris Basken Culpepper; his siblings, Lynn, Lawrence and Trudy; and his son Cordell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Leuenberger (Adam) of Decorah, Janice Baker (William) of Fort Atkinson and Olivia Martinez (Luke Gavin) of Spillville; his grandchildren, Reagan Truitt (Kadyn), Shawn Israel, Jace Leuenberger, Sarah Rausch (Brian), Josiah Baker (Anna Lavender) and Kieran Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Zeppelin Truitt, Lillian, Raylyn and Luka Rausch. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
