She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Berg and Nancy Berg (Schindler); her in-laws, Vernon and Lylas Rasmussen; her brother Peter Berg; and her sister-in-law Joan Whalen.
She is survived by: her husband Alan Rasmussen of Decorah, IA; her children, Lisa Acevedo (Andres) of Postville, IA, Andy Rasmussen (Pam) of Decorah and Jennifer Buhr (Ryan) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Samuel, Delia, Alex Acevedo, Amelia, Henry Rasmussen, Jack, Erik, Lily and Peter Buhr; her brothers, Marty Berg (Donna) of Janesville, WI, Mike Berg (Jan) of Janesville, WI, Tom Berg (Mary Jo) of Janesville, WI and Steve Berg (Kip) of Shorewood, WI; her siblings-in-law, Sheila Norby (Tom) of Canton, MN, Sharon Hanson (Gary) of Spring Grove, MN, Carol Gaustad (Gordy) of Decorah, IA, Craig Rasmussen (Joan) of Mabel, MN and Dean Rasmussen of Decorah, IA; and her close friend Debbie Eadie of Australia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to WinnMed Hospice in appreciation for their great care and service to Kris and the entire family.
