Mark Goulson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Goulson of Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Goulson and Jeane Goulson; his son John; and his pets, Rascal and Cocoa.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Smith; his sister Karen Allen (Doug); and his children, Emily Barnes (Jeremy), Ben Goulson (Rachel), Rolf Goulson (Jennifer) and Tom Goulson. He is also survived by grandchildren and three very special young friends.
