It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Holthaus of Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to family, friends and providers who were there to support Mary Ellen over the past few years with her diagnosis of Alzheimer's. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Winneshiek County Community Foundation in care of Willard H. and Mary Ellen S. Holthaus Family Fund or Winneshiek Medical Center Hospice.
