In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Orbell leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Orbell may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Grindeland (Sanden) and Bennie Grindeland; and her husband Bill Hall. She is survived by: her son Gary Hall (Norma Larson) of Decorah; and her grandsons, Michael Hall (Marti) of Decorah and Scott Hall (Mary) of Black Earth, WI. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
