Theresa leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Theresa’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Theresa will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carolyn Funke; her adoptive father James (Rose Hallman); her husband Raymond Teslow; her son Wayne; and her grandson Jesse Einck.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Gardner (Pat) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Randy Teslow (Dawn) of Ossian and Ronald Teslow (Mary) of Shelbyville, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law Joyce Teslow of Frankville, Iowa; and her close friend Dave Benson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101).
