He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gavle (Brainard); his siblings, Ruth Ann Pladsen and Burton "Bud" (Emma Thompson); his stepchildren, Bobbie Young (Jeff Brink), Ronald Young and Nancy Gipp (Aaron Gipp); his grandchildren, Robert, Jesse Anderson, Joseph, Tori, Cassidy Young and Isabella Gipp; his great grandchildren, Henry, Lyla Anderson, Alexandra and Nelly Young; his siblings-in-law, Bev Gavle, Gilbert Brainard (Barb), Richard Brainard (Gwen) and Tony Brainard; and his caregiver Angie Zezulka.
