He was predeceased by: his father Marshall Fye (Voyna); his brother Gerald Fye; his parents-in-law, Vernon Otto and Mercedes Otto (Radke); and his siblings-in-law, La Vern Gaul, Delbert Dodd and Carole Otto.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Fye (Otto); his daughter Julie; and his siblings, Galen Fye (Lavon) and Elaine Gaul.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Decorah Lutheran Church (309 Winnebago St, Decorah, IA 52101).
